Madhubani for HIndustan Times






Did a very interesting assignment for Hindustan Times Brunch recently.
A series of Madhubani style illustrations for their cover story.

Made me realise how visually potent and vibrant the traditional Indian styles of art are and the endless possibilities they offer for visual storytelling.

    awesome. madhubani art is really gorgeous. You should check out this woman Kripa Joshi- she does comics in the mithila/madhubani style. really really cool stuff.
